Commercial laundry backup network

Commercial laundry equipment down? Find backup processing capacity.

A washer, ironer, boiler, folder, or other production issue can remove capacity while your incoming linen keeps arriving. Flatwork helps commercial laundry operators check nearby plants that may be able to process temporary hospitality volume while the problem is resolved.

When equipment downtime becomes a capacity problem

A washer down can reduce wash capacity. An ironer or folder down can hold up finishing, while a boiler failure can affect several parts of production. The immediate question is how much linen needs another processing option while equipment is out of service.

If incoming volume is also building up, explore overflow processing capacity. For other temporary production constraints, see commercial laundry backup capacity.

What information helps us find the right plant

Include your plant location, the approximate volume affected, the linen types, and the deadline for processing. Explain which production stage is interrupted and how long you expect to need temporary capacity, if known.

Use the request’s “Anything else?” field for any handling requirements or pickup and delivery constraints. The receiving plant will need to confirm what it can take and on what schedule.

How Flatwork checks nearby capacity

  1. Tell us what you need

Submit the stranded processing volume and the timing you need covered during equipment repair.

  2. We check nearby plants

We contact relevant commercial laundries that may be able to help. Capacity, response timing, and geographic coverage are not guaranteed.

  3. You connect directly

If a plant expresses interest, we introduce both parties to agree on pricing, trucking, timing, and commercial terms.

Hospitality flatwork and terry

This service focuses on sheets, towels, pillowcases, and similar hotel linen affected by production downtime.

Flatwork helps find potential processing partners. We do not repair equipment, process linen, arrange transport, or set the other plant’s prices.

Submit a capacity request

Share the processing volume affected by the downtime and your next deadline.
