About Flatwork
A simpler way to find backup laundry capacity.
Incoming linen does not stop when a plant loses capacity. Equipment downtime, unexpected volume, and production bottlenecks can leave operators needing temporary outside processing.
Flatwork helps commercial laundry operators identify nearby plants that may be able to take that volume, then facilitates a direct introduction when a plant is interested.
A connection between commercial plants.
What Flatwork does
- Checks relevant nearby commercial plants
- Facilitates introductions to interested plants
- Helps operators identify temporary processing options

- Set pricing or commercial terms
- Guarantee available capacity
- Guarantee response times
How requests work.
- You submit your location, linen type, approximate volume, and deadline.
- Flatwork selectively contacts relevant plants to ask whether they may have room.
- If a plant is interested, Flatwork introduces the parties by email.
- The two plants agree directly on processing scope, pricing, transportation, timing, and commercial terms.
Requests are not posted publicly. Initial outreach describes the nearby need; introductions share contact details with interested parties. Read how request information is used.
Start a capacity requestBuilt around hospitality processing.
Flatwork is for commercial laundry operators, hospitality-focused plants, and operators dealing with temporary capacity constraints. The current focus is sheets, towels, pillowcases, and similar hospitality flatwork and terry.
Coverage depends on relevant plants and their willingness and ability to help with a particular request. An introduction is a starting point; plants must confirm capacity and suitability directly.
